All Eyes Were Smiling, Not Just the Irish Ones!

‘Twas a grand celebration at the annual St Patrick's Day Dance, chaired once again by Gerry and Sinead Whelan,
along with Breda Buckley.

After a greeting and coat check by James Dukas, there was a wonderful corned beef and cabbage meal.  Later, OLM’s Whelan sisters entertained everyone with their traditional Irish step dancing.  Kelly is a freshman at Archbishop Molloy High School, and Ashling is in fifth grade at PS 144.

Later on, the Molloy Pipe and Drum band entertained with several traditional tunes familiar to all.  Several local
parishioners are in the band, including John, Adam and Lauren Maldonado, Elise Lontos, and Ryan Karsten.  In between all the entertainment there was dancing to the live band "The Rock Club.”

A thousand thanks to all who helped make this such a great time! Slainte!!
