89 golfers participated in a shotgun start at 8am at Clearview Golf Course, then, from 2:30 pm through 5pm, 14 tennis players enjoyed several games at the Tennis Club. Later in the evening, a deluxe BBQ at Westside Tennis Club was attended by 183 people. Partygoers enjoyed an open bar and danced into the sunset to a terrific DJ. A silent auction and two raffles added to the evening’s fun and profit.

Our Church is indebted to the Good Lord, for picture-perfect weather lasting the entire day, and to the wonderful Organizing Committee, who invested numerous volunteer hours generating such a large-scale event! The Committee consisted of Sinead Whelan, Harry Kohlmann, Gerry Whelan, Pat Gorman, Angela Martin, and BJ Duffy. It was our most successful outing in terms of both participation and fund-raising. There seemed to be agreement that this was a wonderful way for members of the Parish to spend some time with each other!
