Each year Human Resources designates several local charities who are
assisted through our Giving Tree program. Ornaments from
the tree designate the charity and a type of gift that can be brought new
and unwrapped to the rectory. Donations are made in the name of our
parish family.
Our Angel program enables those who wish to help a specific person at Christmas time find a person in need
(usually a child or teen) shop, wrap and deliver a gift that goes only to
that designated person.
Parishioners who wish to “Be
an Angel” receive the name of a local family or child in
need from the Human Services office and also receive specific information
about clothing, toys or other gifts that can make life more enjoyable.
These gifts should be labeled with the individual’s name and gift wrapped and brought
to the rectory for distribution. Ordinarily, these gifts are picked up
before Christmas so that they can be placed under the family tree.
