At 10:00 am Mass each Sunday, a special Liturgy of the Word is celebrated with the children in the Parish. Children in pre-school through grade 5 are invited to the church hall to the hear the day's scripture readings in a way that they can easily understand. They return to the congregation after the homily to participate in the Liturgy of the Eucharist. Adults from the parish are trained to serve as catechists in the program and young adults of junior high and high schools age provide assistance.
